Accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments.

Common adjusting entries include:
- Accrue expenses you incurred but haven't been billed for.
- Defer revenue you invoiced in advance.
- Depreciate fixed assets (often auto-posted).
- Amortize prepayments (often auto-posted).
To manage these entries, go to More Tools in the sidebar and select Adjustments (Manual Journals). This tool allows you to create and review necessary adjustments for accurate financial reporting.
Step-by-step
- 1Access Adjustments
Go to More Tools in the sidebar and select Adjustments (Manual Journals).
- 2Create an Entry
Click 'New Entry' and fill in the details for accruals, deferrals, or other adjustments.
Ensure all amounts and dates are accurate for precise reporting. - 3Review and Save
Review your entries and click 'Save' to apply them.
Check for any errors before saving to avoid discrepancies.
