Accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments.

Common adjusting entries include:

  • Accrue expenses you incurred but haven't been billed for.
  • Defer revenue you invoiced in advance.
  • Depreciate fixed assets (often auto-posted).
  • Amortize prepayments (often auto-posted).

To manage these entries, go to More Tools in the sidebar and select Adjustments (Manual Journals). This tool allows you to create and review necessary adjustments for accurate financial reporting.

    Access Adjustments

    Go to More Tools in the sidebar and select Adjustments (Manual Journals).

    Create an Entry

    Click 'New Entry' and fill in the details for accruals, deferrals, or other adjustments.

    Ensure all amounts and dates are accurate for precise reporting.

    Review and Save

    Review your entries and click 'Save' to apply them.

    Check for any errors before saving to avoid discrepancies.
