Set your Business Type (Trade / Service / Mixed) and unlock Inventory
Where to change whether your business sells goods, services or both, and what it changes.

Settings → General → Business → Business Type lets you pick:
- Trade – you sell goods/products (Inventory GL 1200, COGS 5000; Inventory dashboard fully available)
- Service – you sell services (supplies tracked in GL 1240; the Inventory dashboard shows Inventory Tracking Not Applicable)
- Mixed – goods and services
If the Inventory page says Inventory Tracking Not Applicable, click Update Business Type – it opens Settings on the exact field (highlighted) so you can switch to Trade or Mixed. The change applies immediately.
