Issue credit for returns, overcharges, or goodwill.

beginner· 3 views· Updated 7/18/2026

A credit note reduces the amount a customer owes. Common uses include product returns, billing errors, and goodwill discounts. You can apply the credit to an open invoice, reducing its balance, or leave it as an account credit for future invoices.
