Why PAYE / Pension / NHF / NSITF / ITF tasks appear — or don't

Payroll statutory deadlines show in Tasks only while a payroll run has posted liabilities that are still outstanding.

Tasks shows a payroll statutory deadline (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF and other countries' payroll withholding) only when the liability account for that tax has an outstanding balance — i.e. an approved payroll run posted the liability and it has not been remitted yet. No run or fully remitted → no task.

VAT, WHT and corporate tax deadlines follow the normal tax calendar. The Tax Calendar page always shows the complete schedule for your country.

Step-by-step

  1. 1
    Approve a payroll run

Payroll → run → Approve. Liabilities post to the statutory GLs.

  2. 2
    See the tasks

Home → Tasks lists each statutory deadline with days remaining while the balance is outstanding.

  3. 3
    Remit

Record the remittance (bank feed match or payment) — the task disappears once the liability is cleared.
