Record Invoice Payment

Mark an invoice as paid, fully or partially, in AkountFly.

beginner· 1 view· Updated 7/18/2026

When a customer pays you, it's essential to record the payment against the invoice to keep your accounts accurate.

You have two options:

1. From the invoice: Use the Actions menu to select Record Payment.

2. From the AI Bank Transactions Center: Match a bank transaction to the invoice, which is recommended when the payment appears in your linked bank account.

Recording a full payment will mark the invoice as Paid and clear the receivable. For partial payments, the received amount is recorded, leaving the remaining balance outstanding.
