Login sessions and two-factor authentication (2FA)
Sessions last 24 hours, 2FA re-checks every 60 days, and everything is managed in Settings → Security.
AkountFly protects your books with short-lived sessions and optional two-factor authentication.
- Sessions last 24 hours from login, maximum. After that you're signed out and asked to log in again — even if you were active. Logging out always returns you to the sign-in page.
- 2FA can be enabled in Settings → Security using an authenticator app (TOTP), email codes, or SMS. Once enabled, AkountFly asks for a code at login every 60 days per account — not every single login — balancing safety and convenience.
We recommend an authenticator app as the strongest option.
Step-by-step
- 1Open Security & Privacy settings
Go to Settings and open the Security & Privacy tab.
Open Security & Privacy settings - 2Enable a 2FA method
Choose authenticator app (recommended), email code, or SMS and follow the setup prompts.
Enable a 2FA method - 3Manage 2FA anytime
Disable or switch methods from the same Security card whenever you like. At login you'll be asked for a fresh code roughly every 60 days.
Keep backup codes somewhere safe in case you lose your device.Verify once
