Find the bank line behind a document — and undo the match from there
Every invoice, bill, receipt, payment, loan, investment, schedule or inventory purchase that came from a bank line shows a 'View in Bank Feeds' link and an 'Undo bank match' action.
Wherever a document is shown — list cards, detail pages, edit pages, the Loans/Investments Transactions tabs and Inventory → Transactions — a green View in Bank Feeds link opens the Bank Transactions Center with that exact line highlighted.
When a document was settled by several bank lines you get one dropdown, N bank feed lines ▾, listing each line with its description, date, bucket and amount.
Undo bank match (next to the link) reverses the match from the document side: the journals are reversed, the bank line goes back to Review Needed and the document returns to unpaid/open. If the match used several bank lines, AkountFly asks you to confirm This match used N bank lines and undoes all of them together.
Why can't I edit the amount? Documents created by or settled from a bank line are locked for money fields (amount, currency, date, bank account). Undo the bank match first, then edit.
Step-by-step
- 1Open the document
From any list, open the invoice, bill, receipt or payment. Under the title you will see View in Bank Feeds (or N bank feed lines ▾).
- 2Jump to the bank line
Click the link. The Bank Transactions Center opens on the right tab with the line highlighted.
- 3Undo if needed
Click Undo bank match. For grouped matches confirm Undo all N lines. The document is back to unpaid and the lines are back in Review Needed.
Undo is also available on each line inside the dropdown.
