In short
- You earn a monthly commission — 10% of every successful subscription payment made by a business you referred — for 12 months from that business's first payment, for as long as it keeps paying. Nothing is earned on failed, refunded or disputed payments.
- Commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it relates to and is paid in the currency of your country, to an account in your name.
- Any image, flier, video or text that markets AkountFly must be approved in the Partner Portal before it is published.
- Referred businesses stay anonymous to you; you never receive their private data.
- No self-referrals, no bidding on the AkountFly name, no spam, no misleading claims.
1Scope & definitions
AkountFly means AkountFly and its affiliates operating the AkountFly platform. Partner means the person or entity approved into the Partner Program. Referred Business means a business that registers on AkountFly using the Partner's referral link or code, or that the Partner adds through the Partner Portal. Qualifying Payment means a subscription payment by a Referred Business that AkountFly's payment provider confirms as successful and that is not later refunded, reversed or disputed. Program Settings means the commission, hold, window, threshold and other parameters shown in the Partner Portal, which form part of this policy.
2Eligibility & onboarding
- Applicants must be at least 18, provide accurate identity, contact, country and online-presence details and confirm their e-mail address. AkountFly may request additional verification (ID, business registration, tax number) at any time.
- Applications are reviewed by AkountFly and may be approved, declined or approved under a different partnership type at AkountFly's sole discretion. Approval creates no employment, agency, joint-venture or exclusive relationship.
- AkountFly customers may also be Partners. A Partner may not earn commission on their own subscriptions, on businesses they own or control, or on businesses that are already AkountFly customers (see §8).
- The Partner is responsible for keeping profile, payout and tax details current in the Partner Portal.
3Referral links & attribution
- AkountFly provides referral links (akountfly.com/r/CODE) and codes. Partners may create additional links in the Portal; each link must point only to AkountFly web pages offered in the Portal.
- Attribution basis: the referral code present at registration — typed by the user or carried from the Partner's link (the code is remembered on the visitor's device for the cookie lifetime shown in Program Settings, and survives browsing other AkountFly pages). Where several codes exist, the code used at registration wins.
- Businesses added by a Partner from the Portal are attributed to that Partner and are flagged as such; AkountFly may review these for compliance with §8.
- AkountFly's records of clicks, sign-ups, plans and payments are final for attribution and commission purposes. AkountFly may re-attribute or exclude a conversion where fraud, error, duplicate accounts or policy breaches are found, with an audit note visible to staff.
- Deactivated links stop tracking new clicks immediately; existing attributed businesses are unaffected.
4Commission
- Standard plan for self-registered Partners: 10% of the net amount of every Qualifying Payment, accruing monthly for 12 months counted from the Referred Business's first successful payment. A month is only earned if the Referred Business's subscription payment for that month succeeds; if the business pauses, churns or fails to pay, nothing accrues for that period, and the 12-month window does not pause or extend.
- Commission is calculated per product plan (Starter, Growth, Pro and any regional plan) on the amount actually paid, excluding taxes, discounts, credits, add-ons AkountFly designates as non-commissionable, and any amounts refunded.
- Partners invited under a bespoke plan (different rate, window, bounty or tier) are governed by the plan shown in their Portal. AkountFly may change plans prospectively on 30 days' notice; accrued commission is unaffected.
- Commission is recorded only when AkountFly's payment provider confirms the payment. Pending, failed or test payments earn nothing. Lines appear in the Portal in near real time and are marked pending until the hold period ends.
- The Portal is the single source of truth for earnings. Estimates, marketing examples or statements by AkountFly staff are not binding.
5Payouts, currency & tax
- Commission becomes payable 30 days after the related payment (the "hold period"), once approved, and is paid according to the schedule and minimum threshold in Program Settings. Balances below the threshold roll forward.
- Commission accrues in the currency the Referred Business paid in. Payouts are made in the currency of the Partner's country, to a bank, mobile-money or payment account in the Partner's own (or registered business') name in that currency. Conversion uses AkountFly's daily exchange rate on the payout date; the rate and source are shown on every payout.
- AkountFly may deduct withholding or other taxes required by law and will show every deduction on the payout. Partners are responsible for declaring and paying their own taxes and for providing tax identification or forms when requested; payouts may be held until they are provided.
- Partners must acknowledge each payout in the Portal or raise a dispute within 30 days; after that the payout is deemed accepted.
- AkountFly may withhold or offset payouts against amounts owed by the Partner (clawbacks, over-payments, penalties under §8).
6Clawbacks & adjustments
- If a Qualifying Payment is refunded, charged back, disputed or reversed, the related commission is reversed automatically. If it was already paid out, the amount is deducted from future payouts.
- Commission on conversions later excluded for fraud, self-referral, duplicate accounts or policy breaches is reversed in full.
- AkountFly may add manual adjustments (bonuses or penalties) with a stated reason; these are visible in the Portal.
7Brand, marketing & content approval
- Partners may use only the logos, product screenshots, copy and templates provided in the Brand Library, for the countries they are tagged for, without altering colours, proportions or wording except as the library allows.
- Any image, flier, graphic, video, reel, advertisement, landing page, e-mail or written text that promotes AkountFly must be submitted in the Portal ("Marketing" → Submit for approval) with the final visual and text, the platform and the planned posting date, and may be published only after it is marked Approved. Each approval carries a reference the Partner must keep. Approved content must be published exactly as approved; any edit requires a new approval.
- Partners must present themselves as independent partners, never as AkountFly, its staff or an official account, and must disclose the partnership where advertising law requires (e.g. "#ad", "partner link").
- Claims about features, pricing, savings, compliance or results must match AkountFly's published materials at the time of posting. No guarantees of tax outcomes, no comparisons disparaging competitors, no fake reviews or testimonials.
- AkountFly may require any content to be edited or removed within 48 hours of notice, and may withdraw an approval if the platform, pricing or law changes.
8Prohibited practices
The following lead to reversal of related commission and may lead to suspension or termination and forfeiture of unpaid balances:
- Self-referral or referring businesses owned, controlled or operated by the Partner, its employees, family or related entities; creating accounts for others without their informed consent; incentivising sign-ups with cash, rebates or prizes not approved by AkountFly.
- Bidding on "AkountFly", its misspellings or branded terms in paid search or app-store ads; registering domains, social handles or pages that impersonate AkountFly; using the brand in a way that implies official status.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging (e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp, DMs), comment spam, cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, redirects that hide the destination, toolbar/extension injection, or any technical manipulation of attribution.
- Misleading, false or exaggerated claims; promoting AkountFly on sites with illegal, adult, hateful or infringing content; targeting minors.
- Publishing marketing material without approval (§7), or altering approved material.
- Sharing Portal access, codes or Referred Business information with third parties; attempting to identify or contact Referred Businesses using Portal data.
- Any conduct that breaches applicable law, AkountFly's Terms of Service, platform policies (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) or that harms AkountFly's reputation.
9Data protection & confidentiality
- Referred Businesses are shown to Partners anonymised (reference number, masked initials, country, plan, status). Partners receive no names, e-mails, phone numbers, financial data or identifiers of Referred Businesses and must not attempt to obtain them.
- Partners process personal data of their own audience under their own responsibility and applicable law (including NDPA/NDPR in Nigeria, UK/EU GDPR, POPIA, Kenya DPA and equivalents) and must have a lawful basis to send marketing.
- Program terms, commission rates, unpublished features, pricing changes, performance data and any non-public information received from AkountFly are confidential and may not be disclosed during the program and for two years after.
- AkountFly processes Partner data (identity, contact, payout, tax, activity) to run the program, pay commission, prevent fraud and meet legal duties, under the AkountFly Privacy Policy. Agreement acceptance (version, time, IP address) is recorded.
10Partner Portal & security
- Access is by one-time code or magic link to the registered e-mail. Partners must keep that mailbox secure and tell AkountFly immediately about any suspected unauthorised access.
- Partners must not probe, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the Portal, APIs or referral endpoints. Automated clicks or sign-ups are prohibited.
- AkountFly may suspend Portal access while investigating suspected breaches.
11Compliance & conduct
- Partners must comply with anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, sanctions and consumer-protection laws, and must not offer anything of value to public officials to promote AkountFly.
- Partners who are accountants, bookkeepers or advisers must disclose the commission to clients where their professional rules require it and must act in the client's best interest when recommending plans.
- Partners must respond to AkountFly compliance requests within 10 business days.
12Term, blacklisting & discontinuation
- The agreement starts on approval and continues until terminated. Either party may terminate for convenience on 30 days' written notice (e-mail or Portal message).
- Partner lifecycle. A Partner is Invited (approved, invitation e-mailed), then Active once they first sign in to the Portal and accept this Policy. AkountFly may edit or withdraw an invitation at any time before it is accepted; a withdrawn invitation link stops working and no relationship exists.
- Blacklisting (commission pause). Where AkountFly reasonably believes a Partner has breached a critical policy (§7 brand misuse, §8 prohibited practices, §9 data protection, §10 Portal security or §11 compliance), AkountFly may blacklist the Partner with immediate effect. While blacklisted: referral links keep tracking, Portal access remains, but no new commission accrues and no payout is made. Commission that would otherwise have accrued during the pause is not back-paid. The Partner is notified with the reason and may respond via the Portal inbox; AkountFly reinstates the Partner if the matter is resolved, or discontinues the partnership if it is not.
- Discontinuation. AkountFly may discontinue a partnership for convenience on 30 days' notice, or immediately for an unresolved critical breach, suspected fraud, legal or regulatory reasons, or prolonged inactivity (no clicks or sign-ups for 12 months). On discontinuation the Partner's referral links stop working immediately and no new commission accrues.
- Run-off after discontinuation. If approved or pending commission remains unpaid at discontinuation, the Partner keeps Portal access (read-only, messages and payout history) until the remaining monthly commission has been paid in the normal cycle; the account then closes automatically. If nothing is unpaid, Portal access closes immediately. On discontinuation for breach or fraud, unpaid commission is forfeited and AkountFly may recover amounts paid on affected conversions.
- On discontinuation the Partner must stop using all AkountFly marks and remove all marketing material within 7 days.
13Disputes
- Questions about attribution, commission or payouts must be raised through the Portal ("Messages" / "Dispute" on a payout) within 60 days of the line or payout appearing. AkountFly will respond within 10 business days and its records are presumed accurate absent clear evidence.
- Unresolved disputes are first escalated to AkountFly management; failing settlement within 30 days, either party may pursue the remedies available under the governing law in §16.
14Liability & indemnity
- The program is provided "as is". AkountFly does not guarantee any volume of clicks, sign-ups, approvals or earnings and is not liable for lost profits, indirect or consequential loss. AkountFly's total liability to a Partner is limited to the commission payable to that Partner in the 12 months before the claim.
- The Partner indemnifies AkountFly against claims, fines and costs arising from the Partner's marketing, content, data practices, tax obligations or breach of this policy.
15Changes to the program
- AkountFly may update this policy and Program Settings. Material changes (rates, windows, hold periods, thresholds) apply prospectively on 30 days' notice by e-mail and Portal banner; other changes apply when posted. Continued use of links or the Portal after the effective date is acceptance. Commission already accrued is never reduced retroactively.
- The current version and acceptance history are always visible in the Portal.
16General
- This policy, the Program Settings shown in the Portal, the AkountFly Terms of Service and Privacy Policy form the entire agreement. If any clause is unenforceable the rest remains in force. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Partners may not assign the agreement without AkountFly's consent.
- Governing law and venue follow the AkountFly Terms of Service applicable to the Partner's country of registration. Notices to AkountFly: through the Portal or the partner contact address published on akountfly.com.
